Lake Notes:  Bass Lake is located about halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco and about 10 miles east of Oakhurst.  Bass Lake is only 14 miles away from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park at an elevation of 3,400 feet in the beautiful Sierra National Forest.
